These terms cover Turner Operations: the websites at turnerops.app and turnerparts.app, the service request form, and the connection to QuickBooks Online.
Turner Operations is software built and run by Turner Piping & Refrigeration ("Turner", "we", "us") to run our own business: scheduling, service and project work, parts and purchasing, fleet, quoting, invoicing and payroll records. It is not sold to the public. By signing in, sending a service request, or connecting QuickBooks Online to it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
1. Who may use it
Signed-in areas are only for Turner employees and people Turner has given an account (for example, our office staff and field technicians). Your account is for you alone. Keep your password and sign-in links private, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. We decide who has an account and what each account can see and do, and we can change that at any time.
The service request form is open to our customers and their dispatchers without an account.
2. Your license
While you have access, Turner gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use Turner Operations for Turner's business, and for nothing else. Turner keeps all rights in the software, its design and its content. You may not copy, sell, rent, sub-license, reverse engineer or build another product from it.
3. Acceptable use
When you use Turner Operations you agree to:
- enter true and complete information — hours, mileage, parts, receipts, inspection results and reports are business records that customers, payroll and our accountants rely on;
- only open the records your account is meant to see, and not try to get around access limits, security or rate limits;
- not upload anything unlawful, harmful or that you have no right to share, and not upload viruses or malicious code;
- not use automated tools to scrape or overload the service;
- keep customer, employee and financial information confidential and use it only for Turner's work.
4. Records and content
Work records, photos, signatures, reports, receipts and other material entered in Turner Operations are Turner's business records. Turner may keep, use, correct and share them as needed to run the business, serve customers, meet legal and tax duties, and as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. QuickBooks Online
Turner Operations can connect to Turner's QuickBooks Online company so that customers, vendors, products and services, invoices, bills and payments stay in step between the two. About that connection:
- Who connects it. Only a Turner administrator authorized to act for Turner's QuickBooks Online company can connect or disconnect it. Connecting is done through Intuit's own sign-in and consent screen.
- What it can do. Once connected, Turner Operations uses Intuit's QuickBooks Online Accounting API, only with the permissions you approve on that screen, to read and record accounting information for Turner's company. It does not use QuickBooks Payments or payroll.
- Disconnecting. You can disconnect at any time from Turner Operations (Jobs → QuickBooks) or from QuickBooks Online (Settings → Apps). When disconnected, Turner Operations stops reaching QuickBooks and deletes the stored connection keys. Records already copied into either system stay where they are.
- Your QuickBooks account. Your use of QuickBooks Online is also governed by Intuit's terms. Intuit Inc. does not make, endorse or support Turner Operations and is not responsible for it. QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc.
- Check your books. Synced entries are only as good as what is entered. Review what appears in QuickBooks; the accounting records in QuickBooks Online remain Turner's official books.
6. Other services we use
Turner Operations relies on outside providers for hosting, the database, email, maps and weather, AI writing help and our field-service and accounting systems. They are listed in our Privacy Policy. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their outages or changes.
7. Service requests
Sending the service request form asks Turner to contact you about work; it does not by itself create a contract, a guaranteed response time or a price. Please give accurate site and contact details. For an emergency — for example, a refrigeration failure with product at risk — call our on-call line at 802-416-4308 rather than relying on the form. Automated or abusive submissions are blocked.
8. No warranty
Turner Operations is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, Turner makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. Figures it calculates — costs, margins, payroll, taxes and fees — are working tools; check them before relying on them.
9. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Turner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or business, arising from your use of Turner Operations or of any connected service, including QuickBooks Online. This does not limit any right an employee has under employment law, or any agreement Turner has with a customer for the work itself.
10. Ending access
Turner may suspend or end any account at any time, including when employment ends or these terms are broken. Records you entered stay with Turner as business records.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Vermont.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell account holders about important changes in the app or by email. Using Turner Operations after a change means you accept the updated terms.
